ABOUT US

Madison Lumos Doula Trio

<— Lumos Trio

The roots of Lumos have grown out of wanting a different experience for our clients. One filled with information, support, and community relationships for new families across the span of pregnancy, birth, and the first year.

Incubated in 2016, and launched in 2017, Lumos is the brainchild of a collective couple of decades of work in the Madison area birth scene.

Madison Doula Alli Ryan

<— Alli Ryan

“Look at how amazing you are!  This is hard, but you’re tuning into what is right for you.” – the kind of thing you’ll likely hear Alli saying on a regular basis.

A mama, a lover of forms and spreadsheets (we’re not kidding), an avid runner with her black lab, and great hugger and sympathetic crier, Alli went to her first birth at age 21 and started doing doula work professionally in 2009.

Lea Wolf —>

“When you look at what the research says…” – a phrase that comes out of Lea more often than she’d like to admit.

Lea is a mama, photographer, enjoyer of board games and dog parks; she’s also a bit obsessed with Pinterest.  She has been professionally immersed in the birth and baby world since 2004, and hit the milestone of 200+ births this past year.

Riley Huebsch —>

“We are always a quick phone call or email away, no need to worry about when you’ll hear back.” – okay, she doesn’t actually say this, but Riley is the master responder in the group; she’s often the voice on the phone and the face behind email responses.

Riley is mama to three littles, and a master at healthy baking; she started attending births in 2001 and has been professionally doula-ing since 2012.
